I have spent a lot of time in hospital over the last year and have a grandaughter of 3mths being treated at Kings. My son now 20 was helped by Kings,The Royal Marsden,My youngest daughter had a twisted bowel and would not have survived if we hadn’t had the NHS and i am still being treated needing more surgery. We all use the NHS if only going to the GP every now and again, but many of us have relied on it for years and we are so lucky to have and organisation,If Richard Branson had been allowed to run the Lottery so it helped the NHS we would not be here I certainly would buy lottery tickets if 20p per pound went into the NHS and many people i have spoken to have agreed. I also have a daughter whose a nurse and a 1% pay rise is ridiculous.I have many times been on the same orthopedic ward this year and have seen the nurses be attacked, bitten, scratched, spat at,and sworn at by patient who have dementia, and those who have learning difficulties, confused, and while the nurses do their best for them the nurses suffer and patients that shout yell and scream all night so other patients can not sleep, Come in the hospital I am in for 1 week with me Mr Cameron and you would understand what the nurses are hacked off at 1%. This only part of what i can say and what I have seen
